Good Friday Morning!!!!!
I have been so busy lately I have waited an entire year to blog. And just when I thought I was really going to keep up with it. There are so many places to pay attention to today on the web. I have an Instagram, my website (which is in serious need of revamping), Society 6, Pinterest, Etsy, etc.... and, let us not forget Facebook. I have three pages there. My personal page, my doll art page and now my fantasy art page.
I have been working super hard to maintain life here. It is still hard to pay the bills for a two salary house on one income. So much so that I decided to try working on paintings at night and dolls in the day. I have painted throughout the years since I started doing dolls more exclusively, but never consistently, and I do have several that are unfinished. Painting acrylic on canvas takes longer so I decided to go back to my roots... watercolors.
I finished up a piece recently called Shamrock Fairy. She is on eBay now for a low starting bid.
I am still surrounded by dolls. I am in the middle of two series. One is Oz: The Great and Powerful in 12" doll size. I completed the Wicked Witch of the West and will be working on the other four dolls.
I also finished up two out of the three dolls for The Hunger Games. Katniss and Gale. Peeta will be next. If I were a seamstress I would create Effie.
And finally I loved my Wedding couple... Bella and Edward.
You can see even more of my newest work on my Facebook pages. I tend to update those more regularly because it is easier.
I post a lot or works in progress on Instagram.
